Stefon Diggs Sued by Ex Mulan Hernandez for Alleged Assault Amid Paternity Drama

NFL Star Facing Counterclaims of Assault, Attempted NDA Cover-Up, and Extortion Battle

The legal drama surrounding NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs has intensified. The athlete, who is reportedly expecting a child with girlfriend Cardi B, is now facing a high-stakes lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend, Basketball Wives Orlando alum Mulan Hernandez.

Hernandez, whose filing comes as a countersuit to an earlier claim by Diggs, alleges that the football star assaulted her and then aggressively attempted to secure her silence via a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

The Shocking Allegations

According to court records reviewed by Page Six, the alleged incident occurred on June 7, 2024, during the couple's brief relationship. Hernandez claims Diggs "attacked her from behind and punched the back of her head," resulting in a concussion.

The reality TV personality further alleges a frantic attempt by Diggs to cover up the incident: "He mounted an effort to induce [her] into signing a non-disclosure agreement so that [his] malicious and egregious act would be kept from the NFL and from public view," the filing states. Hernandez asserts that the football player even dispatched his assistant to Houston to pressure her into signing the NDA.

Hernandez is seeking a minimum of $250,000 in damages for physical injuries, emotional distress, and medical expenses.

Diggs' Earlier Lawsuit and Counter-Allegations

This current legal battle is a dramatic turn in a contentious feud. Hernandez's suit, filed in April 2025, is a counter-action to a lawsuit Diggs had filed in February 2025.

In his initial complaint, Diggs accused Hernandez and another woman, Brianna Mack, of assault and extortion. He alleged that after a night of partying, Hernandez became violent, damaged his property (including a claimed $130,000 wristwatch), and threatened him before fabricating her own claims of abuse. Diggs' legal team maintains that Hernandez's suit is an attempt to extort money.

Compounding Legal Woes

Diggs's legal troubles are not limited to this volatile dispute. He is also entangled in a paternity suit filed by a woman named Aileen Lopera, who claims he is the father of her child, born in April 2025.

Meanwhile, all this personal drama unfolds against the backdrop of his high-profile relationship with Cardi B, with reports indicating the couple is expecting a baby together as she continues her divorce proceedings from rapper Offset.

Diggs has not yet issued a public response to Hernandez's specific allegations.
