Cardi B and Stefon Diggs Announce They're Expecting First Child Together

In a move that's become her signature blend of personal and public, Grammy-winning superstar Cardi B revealed she is expecting her fourth child, her first with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The announcement came during a candid interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings on Tuesday, sending shockwaves through the celebrity news world.

"I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs,” the rapper told King, highlighting her ability to balance her booming career with her family life. The news arrives just two days before the highly anticipated release of her new album, Am I the Drama? on September 19.

Cardi B, 32, shared that the new baby is due just before her Little Miss Drama tour kicks off in February, adding, "I’ve been putting in all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby."

The Bronx-born artist spoke about her relationship with Diggs, which became public in May when they were first spotted together at a New York Knicks game. She described their connection as one of mutual support and shared ambition. “I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space,” she said. “Me and my man are very supportive of each other. Their relationship follows Cardi B’s separation from rapper Offset, with whom she shares three children: Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1. The artist filed for divorce in July 2024, the same month her youngest daughter, Blossom, was born.

Cardi B praised Diggs for the confidence he instills in her. “He just makes me feel safe and very confident,” she explained. “And it makes you feel like you could take over the world.” Their romance has been a frequent subject of her social media, including a recent post where she showed off a $73,000 Patek Philippe watch he gifted her.
